PhD: I am a sixth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Devavrat Shah, Prof. Gregory Wornell, and Prof. Alberto Abadie. I received the Jacobs Presidential Fellowship in 2018-2019. I am associated with Laboratory of Information and Decision Systems (LIDS), Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE), and Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS) at MIT.
Undergraduate: Before MIT, I graduated with a B.Tech. (with Honors) in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay). I was fortunate to work with Prof. Nikhil Karamchandani and Prof. Bhaskaran Muralidharan. I received the Undergraduate Research Award in recognition to exemplary contribution to research and the Institute Academic Prize for second highest GPA in the junior year.
Internships: In the summer of 2021, I interned at Google Research where I worked with Johannes Ballé, Lucas Theis, and Peter Kairouz. I spent the summer of 2020 as an intern at IBM Research working with Kush Varshney, Kartik Ahuja, Karthikeyan Shanmugam, Dennis Wei, and Amit Dhurandhar. During my undergraduate, I spent the summer of 2017 as a research intern at EPFL working with Prof. Michael Gastpar.
